The factory DIN plug on 2.1 THX Klipsch speakers are commonly defective. How can I replace it myself?

Which model are you talking about, and what is the problem with the Din plug? Some DIN plugs are soldered in while others are just crimped on, others are connected directly to a circuit board. If there are wires coming out of the DIN plug it would be easy to splice a new one in. IF there is any soldering involved you better be good!

You have what is called a slave unit. The best way to repair is to replace the bent piece. Check with Raido Shack for parts. Takes some time soldering, but it’s up to you to place the price on time.
