@jazzaces294 Quite possibly. I have a fender blues JR. and it holds it’s own in alot of gigs. even though it’s only 15 watts, because of the tubes the sound volume is more like 22 watts solid state.

Love love lone the tone, but I play in a ska band and the band that backs up choirs at my school, and both have trumpets, saxes, and bones. Could this think take a full band with horns?

I used it back in the day. Got compliments on my tone all the time. I have an American made one, which is known to sound warmer, and a hemp cone speaker, so I would just go try one out if I were you.

Do you think this amp would be loud enough for a HS jazz band? The school already has a cheap 100 Watt. Crate amp.

I have a blues JR. also. Sweet little amp for the watts and the price.

I have one of these Blues Juniors…with the master and volume both at 3, I can be heard over my entire band (drums, bass, keys, vocals)….an unbelievable 15 watts

Hey, how/where’d you get that stand or your amp? I’d love one of those.

RawkerForJesus said in March 26th, 2010 at 4:53 pm

They are VERY loud. Especially if you are going to have your amp mic’d. I keep the volume on mine at about 2 for mic’d gigs.

Hi, nice playing…..Do you think these amps would be loud enough for small pub/club gigs?

Bro, I like it very much that neat sound.

barryplem said in April 1st, 2010 at 4:09 pm

I’ve only been able to get that with a pedal, personally speaking.

I’ve had good luck with the fullton OCD in this amp as well. It takes some work to dial in a blues junior but I think this guy has nailed it!

orangetransformer said in April 4th, 2010 at 1:12 am

can it give that chunky rock tone too??

mygif
BluesZep said in April 4th, 2010 at 11:55 am

It’s the standard blues junior. a tube screamer sounds pretty good into this amp.
